Sheldon Ferguson is a smooth jazz guitarist and music instructor from Columbia, South Carolina. He is currently earning his Bachelors in Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Inspired by the music of George Benson, the Isley Brothers, Norman Brown, Jimi Hendrix and Prince, Sheldon decided to release his own 10-track smooth jazz project titled "The Brighter Side" at the age of 17. Since the album's release in 2012 Sheldon has done numerous concerts and made several television and radio appearances; including the international radio broadcast, "Talking Smooth Jazz" who considers him a part of the new generation of smooth jazz. Sheldon performs regularly as a sideman guitarist doing live performances and sessions in various genres including R&B, gospel, funk, pop, blues and more. Sheldon also currently teaches guitar at Abundant Life Music Instruction in Boston, MA..
